This afternoon, President Biden signed into law the Social Security Fairness Act (H.R. 82) which will restore the Social Security benefits of millions of public servants. This is the culmination of over 30 years of NAPO efforts to repeal the GPO and WEP.  We are grateful to be invited to the White House in recognition of our successful efforts to get this bill across the finish line. We extend our sincere thanks to House and Senate leadership for ushering this bill through before the end of the 118th Congress.
