NAPO Washington Reports

NAPO Opposition to Parole of Thelette Brandon

January 23, 2014

Dear Members,

NAPO has sent the letter below to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice to oppose the parole of Thelette Brandon, who was convicted of killing Waco Police Sgt. Roger Earl Barrett.

Please see the attached material from Sgt. Barrett’s widow, Shirley Barrett, regarding how you can help to ensure this cop-killer remains behind bars.  Please note that Ms. Barrett instructs all letters to be postmarked no later than January 24, 2014.  NAPO had been closed due to inclement weather, and immediately responded to Ms. Barrett’s request upon receipt of her letter.  We hope you will do the same to support our efforts to ensure this killer remains in prison.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.

Thanks,

Bill
